The house has massive oak beams and a welcoming wood burning stove. You can enjoy wide ranging views of the Black Forest from the large window and the balcony. It all creates a wonderful holiday atmosphere. You have the use of a computer with free internet access if required. You can enjoy a large variety of sports and recreational activities in the immediate vicinity. The area is excellent for walking and cycling.
When paying the tourist tax (from 12 years on) you receive the Konus-guestcard from the huisowner (no right to use public transportation for free).

You enter the residence via a common entrance and your own hallway, and it is charmingly and homily furnished and comfortably equipped. In good weather the large property on which the house is located is open for communal use.
Saig, a small picturesque part of the touristic area of Lenzkirch, is surrounded by the Saiger Highlands as well as the Kuhlberg and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Titisee. The High Black Forest is much loved by nature lovers, hikers, and winter sports enthusiasts and offers its guests a number of different leisure activities.
Excursions to the well known regional destinations such as Hinterzarten and Titisee-Neustadt or Feldberg are well worth it.
Those who want to spend more time can discover Freiburg, with its historic old town or neighbouring Switzerland (Basel, Zürich).

The intention was to integrate the building that was recently constructed into the environment using the same stone and the same material that is also used in all houses, haylofts and public areas. The facades were constructed in manually sculpted stone. What is striking overall is the impressive overhanging eaves built from stone with baked clay.
The narrow streets of San Felices are reminiscent of an Arab past. The completely tiled village floor and the corresponding haylofts indicate an agricultural past and grain farming. The Castilian houses and their haylofts are authentic masterpieces by farmers who show what a great result one can achieve by piling clay stones true to the spirit of previous times. The Church of the Holy Apostle, Peter (thirteenth century) is worth special mention. The village is definitely worth visiting and you can enjoy a great view from the Pórtico-Mirador up to the nearby Cigudosa, Valdemadera and Sierra de Alcarama. Other things worth seeing in the area are: the Moncayo route, the GR-86 walking route (Sendero Ibérico Soriano), the Tierras Altas route (San Pedro Manrique), the route of the Dinosaurs (from Enciso to Cornago), Soria; the historic provincial capital (20 minutes away) and the old town centre of Tudela. The Black Lagoon "Lagune Negra" and the "Cañon de Rio Lobos gorge (1.5 hours away) are certainly also worth visiting.

You dont have to be a major sportsman as the difficulty level and the courses are not on that level.

2 km from the river Dordogne, this chalet is at the centre of the regions tourist and cultural activity: canoeing on the Dordogne (4 km away), quad-biking in the woods, two golf courses less than 5 km away, the chateaux of the Dordogne and Vézère valleys, caves and prehistoric sites, Medieval villages and Périgords fine food.
Just a few kilometres from the chalet you will find a number of farms/inns in which you can try out their foie gras, candied products, fillet of duck and Monbazillac wine, etc.
The owner pays for 10 kW of electricity per day. If consumption exceeds this amount, payment is the customer's responsibility.
The annexe comprises a bedroom with washbasin (cold water only), an outside area under a pergola and a toilet/shower unit (pleasant in summer, cool in mid-season).
ATTENTION: The house is suitable for 6 persons and two children up to about 10 years of age. 2 double beds, 1 single mattress and a loft bed. The loft bed is only suitable for children.
The area offers you numerous options.
You have the lake of St. Croix nearby, and should visit the famous Gorges du Verdon. You can also wind your way through the typical lanes of Aups, and discover the sights in the shade of the squares. The village of Aups is known for its market with black truffles. The truffle festival is in January and is a not-to-be-missed gastronomic rendez-vous. Many great restaurants and a charming market on the square drape this Provencal village in authentic charm. Aups is about an hour's drive from the coast.
Remarks:
Welcome pack on arrival will contain free range eggs (hens willing) from the hens that are roaming in the owners’ garden. There is a garden beside the cottage with a couple of fruit trees and lawn, garden furniture and a BBQ. Ample parking. Beautiful river walks, within 10 minutes walk of the barn and Cyclists and Walker Friendly Visit Wales award – offering secure bike storage and a pressure spray washer, and located close to the cycle route 42. They also offer escorted mountain bike tours for all abilities by arrangement. Recycling facilities.
The original buildings date back to 1784 and enjoy a lovely south-facing position on the mountain slope, ideal for exploring Sugar Loaf Mountain, the Grwyney Valley, the Black Mountains and the market town of Crickhowell. Sitting amidst beautiful rolling hills and mountains, this is a quiet position yet just a few hundred meters from the small village of Llangenny with its wonderful pub. Crickhowell is just 2 miles away and offers fantastic shopping, coffee shops and eateries whilst Abergavenny boasts a interesting castle with museum and plenty of shops as well as a small cinema.
Less known are the centuries old grave mounds, which you will find within 2km in the beautiful Zwane Lake, woods and the Celtic field close to the Baloër field. You can cycle, via the nature area with its shell paths, discover the Hunzer dale and have a look how the rivulet the Hunze, along its banks small sand beaches, has re found its old flow.
Drenthe is also prominently a hiking province. The Drenthe path runs e.g. within 2km from here and the renowned Pieter path intersect the stream dale landscape of the Drent Aa . Canoeing, as well as on the Hunze as the Drent Aa, belongs to the possibilities as well as making fantastic outdoor trips by horse, because even for your noble four footer there is a stable available.
Do you rather enjoy golf more? The 18 holes rich golf area The Semslanden can be found within 10km. The bubbling student town Groningen is within 20 min. by car from here and further there are various museums, the cosy markets, etc. etc. As you can understand, you can do anything you feel for.

Through the unique location on a private property of 5 hectares, at the foot of the Monchique Mountains, this villa is an oasis of peace.
At the entrance to the villa there is an octagonal patio with grapes which form the centre of the villa. The villa is charmingly furnished and equipped with all comforts and divided into different wings. The spacious master bedroom is lent a romantic air by the open fireplace. The living room borders the octagonal dining room and the covered terrace.
The villa is surrounded by the beautiful garden full of native plants and there are various sunny and shadowy terraces where you can enjoy the peace. You can take a cooling dip here, and relax with the frogs and fish around you.
Within 10 minutes walking from the villa you will find the centre of the idyllic village of Caldas de Monchique which is known for its healing spring water and spa. For a nice outing, go to the centre of Monchique (6 km) with its various shops and restaurants. The sandy beaches in the south of the Algarve are about a 20 minute drive away. For the golf lovers, the nearest golf course is only 10 minutes away in the car.
