The town of Icod de los Vinos is known for its millennial dragon tree, but it is also an old town with wonderful public houses and has an impressive church. From the square in the hall, you have wonderful views over the valley and the black, sheltered sandy beach of San Marcos.

This classic half wood, half stone chalet is located in a quiet, tranquil area near the mountain of Černý Důl (the black mine) in the village of Fořt. Situated at an altitude of 625m, the house has a large garden surrounded by bushes which contains a playground, sandbox, fireplace, table tennis table and covered seat. In front of the house there is a bench and some chairs so you can relax and enjoy the view. A supermarket is located just 200m from the house. Larger shopping possibilities can be found in Vrchlabí (7km). The Giant Mountains are one of the most important tourist areas in the Czech Republic. Fořt is an ideal starting point for day trips in the area like: Černá hora (the Black Mountain, 1290m) and Liščí hora (Fox Mountain, 1365m). Numerous towns and villages in the area (like Vrchlabí, Trutnov and Špindlerův Mlýn) will give you a good insight into the Czech culture. A dirt road (135m) leads to the house. We advise you to use the paved parking area near the public road. In front of the house and in the garden there is sufficient parking.

This beautiful detached holiday house with pool is situated on the Costa del Sol, in the village of Frigiliana which is a small village located at an altitude of approximately 400 meters. It is about 6 kilometers past Nerja. It is one of the best preserved Moorish towns on Andalusia and dates from 1767. Situated on a hill (some climbing required), the small old town with its picturesque streets has been beautifully renovated. Despite the many tourists, it seems as if time has stood still here. Every evening, on the village square you can watch as all the old black-clad men and women go to church. On the square you can also get good food, but for the really nice restaurants you must go even higher in the village where you will also enjoy a nice view of the village of Nerja with the coast in the background. Moreover, there are some nice Frigiliana furniture and accessory shops here, including pottery and wood carvings, and you can also sample wine and sherry (the village is part of the “Sun and Wine Route”). Frigiliana even has its own waterfall. Frigiliana has a new part (at the fork in the village go to the right) but it is in exactly the same style. The old part is a little further up the mountain. If you can not get enough of the beautiful view, you can take the winding road from the top of the village to Torrox Pueblo. The road to the wine village of Competa is somewhat adventurous. If you prefer, you can drive from Torrox Pueblo. There is a market in Frigiliana on Thursday mornings (until 2:00pm).
