Château de Villejovet Château de Villejovet is located in Ardentes about 15 km southeast of Chateauroux south of the Loire Valley. It is surrounded by a beautiful green landscape with meadows, yellow rape fields and charming vineyards. From Ardentes there is about 100 km to Tours and Blois, the two best known and most exciting cities in the area. The castle was originally built in the 17th century and was previously owned by the de Gaulle administration. Today it is Danish-owned. From 1998-2001 the castle was modernized and refurbished from top to bottom and is now an impressive and exclusive holiday property that is definitely worth a visit.
